Ball on Tennis Court

Our Program

01

PRESCHOOL TENNIS

This course is designed for children aged 4-6, focusing on sparking interest through customized equipment and fun tools based on their age and height. The program emphasizes basic footwork, catching, and hitting, with a game-based approach rather than pure technical drills. Coaches adjust the difficulty to match each child's learning pace, fostering both competitive and cooperative spirits in a relaxed environment.

Each 1.5-hour session enhances focus, social skills, and emotional expression. Children learn teamwork, observation, and how to handle success and failure through group games. The course emphasizes independence, and parents are not encouraged to stay.

Held at Overlake Christian Church’s indoor gym in Redmond, the facility offers year-round temperature control, kid-friendly amenities, and a parent lounge with a café and workspace.

What sets this course apart is the integration of gymnastics and tennis, developed by former U.S. National Gymnastics Team Coach Liu. Gymnastics improves flexibility, coordination, and body control—key for tennis. This combination builds a strong foundation, enhancing both physical skills and a love for sports.

TENNIS CAMP

All Skills Program: The All Skills Program is geared towards players ages 10-14 of all skill levels. This program is geared towards beginner players who love this sport. This program includes tennis drills, match-play sessions, and some strength & injury prevention training, conditioning for footwork, speed, agility, and endurance.

10 & Under Tennis Program: The 10&Under Tennis Program is geared towards players ages 6-10 who are just learning the sport. '10 & Under Tennis' follows the logic of other youth sports: balls bounce lower, move slower through the air, and are easier to hit. Racquets are sized for small hands and courts are smaller and easier to cover. By using this format, the benefits are immediate, and very quickly little kids are rallying, playing, and excited to keep playing!
